Ryan + Lorissa's E-Session

I recently met with Ryan and Lorissa for their engagement shoot. They are such a great couple to work with, and I had been wanting to do a shoot at the Parkway Playhouse for a while. It's a great little place to do a few portraits now and then. Here are some of my fave's from the shoot.

My favorite is the first one, which they are going to use for their wedding invitations.

Kalan is Six Months Old!

Hello again! I visited with Kalan the other day for his six month portraits. The Cody's have such a beautiful house, and it's a great place to shoot. We did some pictures just in front of their porch, on a little walkway with the tulips in the background. Then we shot a couple on their porch, but I think Kalan's favorite was when he got to be out in the front yard under a shade tree. He kept rolling around and playing!

I really get excited about pictures with children when they get about six months old. It seems like they start to get a lot of personality along with the cute baby stuff. Plus, little Kalan has the bluest eyes that I've ever seen!

Addyson's Spring Portraits

It's that time of year again. I just love it when all the leaves bloom out, and I get to work outside! Here are some photos from Addyson's shoot last week. I can't believe how fast she is growing!

Phillip's Handy Dandy Portrait

I took some portraits for Phillip Ray the other day. He's a former neighbor at my office, who recently got a job at the Yancey County History Association. I believe he is the head honcho over there now. This photo was for his newspaper article.

I'm so glad it's warm!

Hey guys! I'm so excited that it's finally getting a little bit warm! I can't wait to see everyone and have fun doing some outdoor shoots! This is my favorite time of year, with everything blooming out so beautifully. April is gonna be a busy month. :)

In case you haven't seen my office yet, here is a photo I took with my handy, dandy webcam. I just love my latest framing job in the background. The photo is 16x24 (huge!) and Brandon made the frame for me. He's a handy guy to have around!

Bye for now!
