Carly's Portraits in her Room

A few weeks ago, I visited with Carly to take her portraits in her home. Her mom just didn't know where I would be able to shoot at her house, but there are so many great places in everyone's home, that they wouldn't even think about. The photos below were taken in Carly's room. Isn't she cute!

Look how much Kalan has grown!

We just shot Kalan's three month photos the other day. I just can't believe how much he has grown in such a short time! I love his little blue teddy bear outfit, which brings out the blue in his eyes. He is such a cute little guy!

Stephanie finally had her baby!

I recently visited Stephanie Cody to take photos of her newest member of the family, Kalan Graham Cody. He's two weeks old in the photos and just the cutest little boy! I still can't decide whether he looks more like his mom or his dad though!

Morgan, Mace, & Elijah's Fall Portraits

I recently shot some photos of Kim Green's daughters & nephew. We went to Red Hill to the new "Ridges at Rock Creek" housing development where I had taken several bridal portraits, but never any kids. It was a really good place to get shots of the kids playing next to the creek, and in the fields. My favorite photo from the shoot is the black & white of Mace below.

Peterson Family Portraits

I recently visited Karen Peterson and her family do shoot some portraits. They live at this place that I've always wanted to take pictures at, so I was really excited! We did a bunch of family portraits and then I got to take some pictures of their kids playing in the leaves. Those were the cutest kids!

P.S.
Karen has a password on her proofs, so just let her know if you want to see them.

Addyson's One Year Old!

Saturday, I went to see Addyson at her home in Barnardsville. She just turned one year old and I couldn't believe how much she had grown in only five months! Now she's up and running around... and has teeth! I can tell that the sittings are just getting more fun since she's growing so fast!

Crafts Fair :(

It’s been a while since my last post and I wanted to just pop in and say hi! I'm sorry to everyone for not being at the crafts fair this year. I really wanted to but couldn't because I’m still neck high in editing right now. I have a bunch of weddings I’m still editing…all the way back from June, as well as portraits, and a few other projects like our new albums. I will have a booth next year though, I'm going to start shooting for it this fall.

Here are a few pics of "Squirt" that I took the other day. It was her 5mo. birthday. I ordered her a proof book in black & white with sloppy borders, I think it will look cool, But SHHH... don't tell Galen, it's a surprise!

Baby Nevaeh's First Portraits

This week I went to take pictures for Kristen & Anthony Buchanan of their newest addition to the family, Nevaeh. I love her name (it's HEAVEN spelled backwards!). I had to go back for a second shoot later on in the week, so we could get pictures when she wasn't as fussy. Nevaeh seemed so tiny & fragile, & I can't believe how much hair she has!

Desta & The Boys

I just did an interesting shoot the other day! Desta Phillips boys & her friend Christy with hers also. All together there were 6 boys, and they were about the same age. The only way I could tell them apart was that one group was wearing shorts & the others were in pants. We did the shoot in a backyard in Bakersville. It was such a beautiful place with a tire swing under a huge tree. I was happy to see all the trees in the yard, since it was raining! The boys all did very well as their moms tried to coax them to look at the camera and smile... but boys will be boys & I think that's when I got the best shots!
