Van's Family Shoot

I made a small trip to Mitchell County a couple weeks ago to take photos of Van and her family. It was kind of like doing three shoots at once, there was Van, her sister, and little Henry. I took a ton of photos at a new location that was very pretty. Van's daughter looked so cute while she was playing by the lake! Here are only a couple of my favorite photos from the shoot:

Aaron + Shana = Married!

Here are a few highlights from Shana & Aaron's wedding. It was a beautiful day at the Pinebridge Inn in Spruce Pine. Shana's dress has been one of my all time favorites. The snug fit and small train, made it easy for her to get around in. The outdoor ceremony was amazing, and the reception followed indoors.

Aaron & Shanna's Engagement Portraits

The other day I met with Shanna & Aaron at DT's Coffee to shoot their engagement portraits. We just wandered around on Lower Street in Spruce Pine and got some great shots. They were both pretty nervous at first, I guess because they didn't know what to expect from me... but we had a good time after we got to know each other a little bit. This Black & White photo below is my favorite!

Haley & Steve's Wedding

This past Saturday, I shot Haley & Steve's wedding in Spruce Pine. The reception was held at The Pinebridge INN. I had never been there but it was a very beautiful place. After the reception, we headed down to the park to get some photos of just the two of them.

Here are some shots of Haley's bridal portraits too.

Recent Bridal Portraits

I've shot two of my bridal portrait sittings this week, with one more tomorrow. I'm so excited to show them off!... BUT I can't yet. I'll have to wait until after their weddings, so their grooms won't see them. I took the photos at Springmaid Mountain in Spruce Pine. It is such a beautiful place. They have huge pastures full of horses & beautiful ponds. It is one of my favorite places for weddings. If you haven't been up there, you're really missing out! Here is a link to their website:
